Job Summary
Maintenance Lead at Longview Hatchery responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance function to ensure safe conditions and regulatory compliance, overseeing inventory for maintenance parts, and partnering with management to sustain a safe work environment. Key duties include inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing hatchery equipment (incubators, HVAC, water systems, electrical components), implementing a preventative maintenance program, maintaining records of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and biosecurity standards, supporting production goals to minimize downtime, ordering and managing maintenance supplies and tools, and training/mentoring maintenance staff to uphold proper techniques and safety standards. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; 3+ years in industrial maintenance, preferably in hatchery/poultry; strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing knowledge; HVAC, PLCs, and automated equipment experience a plus; leadership experience to manage a team; ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform required tasks.
