Maintenance Lead

Job Summary
The Maintenance Lead is responsible for preventative maintenance, managing work orders, and coordinating with vendors to ensure the upkeep of The Austin Stone facilities. Key responsibilities include ensuring the operational efficiency of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems; managing Work Order systems; troubleshooting issues with staff and building users; conducting inspections and executing preventative maintenance plans; and maintaining relationships with contractors. The role requires 2 years of relevant experience, general knowledge in maintenance operations, and effective communication skills to collaborate across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years experience as a Maintenance Lead, Building Engineer, or equivalent role
- Hands on experience in planning maintenance operations
- General carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing knowledge and skills
- Ability to read blueprints
- Familiarity with spreadsheets, project management tools, and building safety
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree management experience
