Maintenance Lead

Job Summary
Conduct daily maintenance for the plant, including mechanical, electrical, and preventative functions for CNC machines. Lead and train the work team to achieve production results while investigating breakdowns and line stoppages through root-cause analysis. Prioritize work requests to minimize downtime, ensuring timely repair and installation of equipment while completing all required documentation. Operate newly repaired machinery to verify repairs and analyze test results to diagnose equipment problems. Maintain a safe, clean working environment by complying with OSHA and plant safety standards while managing maintenance schedules and supervising technicians.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance with increasing levels of responsibility
- 1+ years of industrial maintenance management experience
- Experience maintaining Makino and DMG Mori horizontal/vertical CNC Machines
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and blueprints
- Prior experience with CNC, hydraulic systems, electrical work, overhead cranes and safety procedures
- Ability to work first shift with flexibility to support 24/7 operations
- Ability to deal with multiple levels of people effectively, in group and individual settings
- Demonstrated ability to develop project plans and manage maintenance schedules
- Basic computer knowledge (Windows, email, internet, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work independently with little direction

- Exposure to PLC programming logic
