Maintenance Lead

Job Summary
Oversee maintenance associates and lead troubleshooting, repair, and adjustment of refrigeration and material handling equipment while monitoring system performance. Coordinate contractor activities, inspect completed tasks for compliance, and maintain accurate preventive maintenance records to support continuous improvement efforts. Drive root cause analysis and implement solutions across the site while developing technician capabilities and ensuring effective communication across all shifts. Requires minimum five years of industrial maintenance experience, HAZMAT certification, and proficiency in CMMS and OSHA Process Safety Management programs. Schedule includes on-call rotation and physical work at extreme temperatures up to minus 45 degrees Fahrenheit.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, or minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience plus supervisory or lead experience
- Skilled in industrial refrigeration, material handling equipment, dock door and leveler, plumbing, electrical, and building maintenance
- HAZMAT certification
- Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) programs in an industrial setting
- Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- CARO or CIRO certification
- Experience using Oracle Computerized Maintenance Management System
- Experience training and developing less experienced technicians
- Experience overseeing and inspecting work performed by maintenance associates
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
