Job Summary
Lead daily maintenance operations in a corrugated manufacturing facility, coordinating and supervising the maintenance team to ensure safe, reliable equipment performance. Responsibilities include prioritizing repairs, supporting preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems (including motors, pumps, gearboxes, belts, conveyors, PLCs, VFDs), reading blueprints/schematics, performing alignments and repair work, coordinating with production leadership, and mentoring maintenance personnel to maximize uptime and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong industrial mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair experience
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Strong industrial troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with contractors, service technicians, and team members
- Working knowledge of industrial facility systems, including structural, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and additional hours as needed to support business operations
- Ability to safely work at heights, climb ladders, and operate in confined spaces as required.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues.
