Job Summary
Maintenance Team Lead on the 3rd shift responsible for supervising maintenance technicians, providing hands-on guidance for complex repairs, and ensuring production equipment, machinery, and facility systems operate with minimal downtime. Key duties include overseeing preventive/predictive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic issues, supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment, prioritizing maintenance needs with production, ensuring equipment reliability to meet targets, conducting root-cause analysis for recurring failures, enforcing OSHA safety standards and regulatory compliance, utilizing CMMS to track work orders, planning maintenance schedules to minimize disruption, and driving continuous improvement through lean maintenance strategies and KPI tracking (uptime, MTTR, MTBF). Core competencies include leadership, advanced troubleshooting, time management under pressure, cross-team communication, safety emphasis, and commitment to continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- No history of repeated or severe disciplinary action for violation of OPW company policy
- High school diploma or GED (technical degree preferred)
- 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Industrial machinery and automation
- PLC systems (basic troubleshooting)
- Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
