Job Summary
Maintenance Lead overseeing daily maintenance operations in a corrugated-manufacturing facility. Lead and coordinate a maintenance team, prioritize work orders, provide technical guidance, monitor repairs, and support preventative/predictive maintenance programs. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including corrugators, conveyors, pumps, motors, VFDs, and PLC-controlled equipment. Read blueprints and schematics, lead repair projects, document maintenance activities, and ensure a safe, efficient, and reliable production environment. 2nd shift responsibilities include scheduling and readiness for overtime as needed; focus on equipment reliability, downtime reduction, and collaboration with production leadership. Must have strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, ability to interpret technical drawings, and effective communication for coordinating with contractors and team members.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong industrial mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair experience
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Strong industrial troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with contractors, service technicians, and team members
- Working knowledge of industrial facility systems, including structural, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and additional hours as needed to support business operations
- Ability to safely work at heights, climb ladders, and operate in confined spaces as required.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language
