Job Summary
The Maintenance Lead - 2nd Shift is responsible for maintaining production equipment while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Key responsibilities include analyzing mechanical and operational problems, executing corrective actions, conducting preventive maintenance, and directing line operators. Training and instructing maintenance trainees is expected. The role may require the operation of forklift equipment and involves physical demands such as lifting, standing, and working in refrigerated areas.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in handling meat processing equipment.
- Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and schematics.
- Food and/or manufacturing experience.
- Satisfactory completion of three-year formal training program.
