Job Summary
Maintenance Laborer assists Senior Maintenance Specialists or Maintenance Specialists with day-to-day maintenance at assigned properties, including custodial duties, unit turns, curb appeal, pest control, and basic repairs in carpentry, plumbing, or low voltage electrical work. Primary responsibility is ensuring all cleaning for assigned properties is performed, including unit turn preparation, and supporting the assigned Maintenance Specialist in small repairs, curb appeal preparation, and completion of additional tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be ready to learn new skills, work as part of a team, and gain experience in public housing maintenance while contributing to residents and staff safety.
