Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machines, injection molding equipment, and plant systems while troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues to minimize downtime. Diagnose faults in lathes, mills, and molding machines by reading schematics and blueprints, then install, align, and calibrate new or existing equipment. Maintain accurate work orders, ensure compliance with safety standards and LOTO procedures, and support production by responding quickly to breakdowns and line stoppages. Participate in emergency repairs and off-shift/on-call support as required while working cross-functionally with production, engineering, and quality teams.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Physically able to meet all the requirements of the position
- Certified to train and operate a forklift, scissor lift, crane & rigging
Desired Qualifications
- AA degree, Apprenticeship/Journeyman Certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years in repair and maintenance of manufacturing machines, welding, mechanical and/or electrical preferred
- CNC Machine repair and maintenance experience preferred
- Intermediate/Advance knowledge in electronics, electricity, microprocessors, mechanical repair, welding, HVAC, carpentry, blueprint reading, math, maintenance safety, hand and power tools
- Knowledge and experience with manual machine tools (Bridgeport)
- Proficient in Word and Excel programs
- Able to balance multiple projects at one time
- Time management and prioritization skills
- Able to work under pressure and respond with a sense of urgency
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective problem-solving skills
