Job Summary
Maintenance/Porter responsibilities include performing general maintenance inside and outside the store, maintaining the sales floor appearance, cleaning windows and doors, cleaning and maintaining public restrooms, keeping the outside appearance tidy, removing snow and ice from the entrance, monitoring maintenance by contracted vendors, and performing other duties as assigned. Must use the ETS per company guidelines and possess basic carpentry skills, the ability to lift at least 50 lbs, and provide strong customer service in a retail environment; candidate should be team-oriented with a positive attitude.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- The ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- The ability to use hand and power tools, basic carpentry skills
- Moderate interpersonal relations and communication skills
- Genuine desire to service our customers in keeping our retail stores and outside appearance orderly
- A positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
