Job Summary
Performs custodial duties in County buildings under close supervision, including cleaning assigned facilities, dusting and polishing furniture, cleaning windows and floors, vacuuming carpets, restocking restrooms, disposing waste, assisting with room setup, and operating janitorial equipment. Applies knowledge of janitorial principles, safety practices, and County policies; communicates effectively and maintains relationships with colleagues while ensuring facilities are clean, sanitary, and secure at shift end. May perform additional duties as assigned; work environment includes exposure to cleaning chemicals and manual labor up to 25 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Some previous janitorial or maintenance experience preferred
