Job Summary
The Maintenance Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing all maintenance inventory, including receiving, storage, tracking, and issuing of parts and materials using the CMMS system. The role requires ensuring accurate inventory records through proper receiving procedures, cycle counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies. The specialist will support maintenance operations by building work order parts kits, staging materials, and tracking parts status. Additionally, the position involves coordinating parts research, vendor repairs, returns, overages, and warranty items as needed, issuing parts and tools to maintenance personnel, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the maintenance inventory area.
Required Qualifications
- High school or trade school diploma required
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
Desired Qualifications
- Computer proficiency
- ERP or CMMS experience
- Forklift operation experience or willingness to be trained
- Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish
