Job Summary
Maintain a clean, organized parts warehouse by receiving deliveries, verifying shipping documents, tagging items, and stocking inventory. Record all inventory transactions in the database, print tickets for issued parts, and assist in unloading trucks and kitting components for work orders. Complete cycle counts from CMMS reports, add new parts to the system, and manage obsolete disposals and document management. Utilize hand, portable, and power tools such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and pallet jacks to perform assignments. Monitor and respond to department requests via email and voicemail while complying with safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and personal protective equipment requirements. Overtime is required during peak season or based on company needs.
Required Qualifications
- Basic computer competency
- Valid state driver's license
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three years related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Well-rounded and experienced knowledge of the practices, tools, equipment and materials used in assigned skill trade area
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English effectively
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to read manuals and understand part and equipment diagrams
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
