Job Summary
The Maintenance Intern assists in the maintenance, inspection, repair, and testing of equipment and machines in the plant. Responsibilities include supporting operations by undertaking various tasks under the direction of maintenance personnel, assisting with data collection and compilation, reading blueprints to identify repair issues, fabricating equipment, completing preventive maintenance tasks, and communicating progress reports on maintenance work orders. The role requires strong computer skills, effective communication, and knowledge of safety procedures, alongside the ability to perform routine maintenance activities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and show strong initiative
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
