Job Summary
The Maintenance Instrumentation & Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating electrical and instrumentation controls, including low voltage AC/DC and 3-phase 480-volt power circuits. Key duties include requisitioning equipment, accurately completing work orders using CMMS, performing repairs and modifications, participating in training programs, and supporting site safety initiatives. The role necessitates a High School diploma or equivalent, with an Associate or Technical degree preferred, alongside 1-3 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.
Required Qualifications
- 1 – 3 years I/E experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing operation
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, electrical schematics, and engineering specifications
- Must have a working knowledge of the tools and test equipment used for testing, calibrating, and maintaining production instruments and controls
- Must be able to perform shop math
- Must understand and respect safety guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- PLC skills
- Familiar with National Electrical Code, NFPA 70E
- Experience with CMMS, such as MP2 or Maximo
