Job Summary
The Maintenance Instructor delivers ground and practical aviation maintenance training to clients, developing and preparing training materials to meet client needs, evaluating trainee progress, and maintaining training records. Responsibilities include conducting maintenance training, ensuring instructor qualifications per regulatory requirements, identifying training issues and seeking assistance, and providing strong customer service and class-management. Required skills include knowledge of aviation maintenance safety standards and regulations, the ability to teach effectively, facilitation and communication skills, and five years of aviation maintenance experience. The role supports training across FlightSafety locations such as the Paris Le Bourget Learning Center, with in-person instruction across multiple international centers.
Required Qualifications
- Five years aviation maintenance experience
- Knowledge of aviation maintenance safety standards and practices
- Knowledge of common FlightSafety standards and applicable aviation regulations
- Ability to manage classes and teach effectively
- First-level facilitation skills
- First-level customer service skills
- Ability to be coachable and receive feedback to support development
- Ability to stand and perform physically demanding tasks as described in the role
