Job Summary
Maintenance Install Business Developer drives new landscape installation contracts by hunting opportunities, building proposals, and closing deals. Responsibilities include generating and managing a sales pipeline for installation projects, developing customized proposals and presentations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring smooth handoff to operations after sale. Build and maintain relationships with property managers, developers, general contractors, and other decision-makers; conduct regular follow-ups to drive retention and identify upsell opportunities. Stay informed on local market conditions and industry trends, represent the company at trade associations and networking events, and collaborate with estimating, operations, and project management teams to ensure accurate proposals and service delivery. Requires strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills, experience with CRM systems, and regular local travel. Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent work experience); 3-5 years in B2B sales in landscaping/construction/property/ facility management is common. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience). 3-5 years of proven success in B2B sales preferably in landscaping, construction, property management, facility management, or related service industries.
