Job Summary
Maintenance II role on 2nd shift at Covia’s Wedron, IL location. Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on production equipment, performs corrective actions, conducts preventive maintenance, tests and measures product quality, records data, and maintains equipment such as conveyors, pumps, cylinders, solenoids, and air valves. Requires welding capability (stick, mig, oxy/acetylene, plasma) and ability to read blueprints and service bulletins; electrical experience preferred. Rotating shifts may be required. Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Bearings
- Ambitious and self-motivated worker
- Able to prioritize work schedule to execute in order of importance
- Must be able to cut and weld (stick, mig, oxy/act, plasma, etc.)
- Electrical experience is preferred
- Ability to use hand tools and trades type tools, read blueprints, service bulletins, etc.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts if necessary or stay over shift if needed
