Job Summary
Diagnose and repair inoperative equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and assist higher-level maintenance staff. Read blueprints, conduct basic troubleshooting, and communicate effectively. Physical requirements include heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and frequent use of power tools, with exposure to machinery and hazardous environments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 6 months to 2 years general maintenance
- Basic troubleshooting and problem solving
- Basic verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of basic shop mathematics
- Understanding of basic processes of mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical theory
- Ability to multi-task
- Forklift experience
