Job Summary
Maintenance I/II role in a manufacturing facility, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, and electrical, air, and gas systems; perform preventive maintenance; read drawings and equipment manuals; update work orders; collaborate with OEM technicians and vendors; diagnose and repair electrical issues from 480V to 24V control circuits; adhere to Lock Out/Tag Out, Hazmat, PPE and OSHA safety rules; work with teams to ensure uninterrupted production; require 3 years of manufacturing experience and 2 years of training in industrial equipment; candidate must operate hand and power tools safely and be comfortable working at heights and with lifts; location is Rockland, ME (US) with on-site/in-person work; heavy emphasis on safety, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 3-year related experience in a manufacturing environment
- 2-years training in Industrial/Commercial equipment and operating systems or equivalent
- Working knowledge of equipment and operating control systems (robots, press brakes, profiling equipment)
- Diagnose/troubleshoot equipment issues and repair/replace defective components
- Strong understanding of Air, Gas, Hydraulic and Electrical systems on an industrial scale
- Operate tools including hand and power tools in an OSHA-safe manner
- Interpret machine electrical diagrams and schematics
- Knowledge and experience in an industrial production environment
- Basic computer use including Microsoft Tools, databases and internet searches
