Job Summary
Provide daily maintenance and janitorial services to Sea Mar facilities to ensure a safe, sanitary, and attractive environment for patients, clients, and employees. Perform housekeeping tasks such as cleaning floors and furnishings, waste removal, stocking supplies, and organizing utility areas; undertake yard upkeep and exterior maintenance; assist with basic maintenance repairs (plastering, plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical) as needed; operate cleaning equipment (mops, vacuums) and manage inventory of cleaning supplies. Maintain compliance with safety guidelines, perform routine inspections of lighting, plumbing, and security, and support building upkeep and safety across indoor and outdoor spaces. Must have a high school diploma or GED (preferred), a valid driver’s license with auto insurance, and be able to obtain BLS CPR within 90 days; TB testing and annual flu vaccine are required, along with annual health screening. The role may involve exposure to varying conditions and requires regular physical activity including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Driver’s license, auto liability insurance and access to a vehicle
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire and maintained
- Pre-hire and annual TB test screening; Annual influenza vaccine required (with medical or religious exemption allowed, otherwise required)
- Annual health screening; exposure to unsanitary conditions; ability to perform physical duties (stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs)
