Job Summary
Maintenance/Housekeeping Director in an assisted living environment. Oversees maintenance and housekeeping operations, supervises staff, coordinates preventive maintenance schedules, conducts inspections of property systems (roof, building façade, grounds, etc.), maintains equipment records, leads training and safety initiatives, and ensures compliance with health, regulatory, and OSHA standards. Requires HVAC/plumbing/carpentry experience, ability to manage work orders and cleaning schedules, strong resident-centered service mindset, and eligibility to drive a company vehicle. Must hold a high school diploma or GED, communicate in English, and meet facility health requirements including TB testing; fitness to perform physical tasks and respond to emergencies; adhere to attendance and facility policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance
- Ability to drive a company vehicle
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to lift 25 pounds to 5 feet and move 50 feet
