Job Summary
Maintenance Technician – Level 2 role responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical/electrical systems, performing preventive maintenance, welding and fabrication tasks, and supporting plant operations from the maintenance workshop with mobility to respond to breakdowns on the production floor. Requires basic welding/electrical skills, ability to interpret welding symbols, use multimeters, and comply with safety standards; preferred HS diploma or GED, and certifications like Lock Out/Tag Out, Pallet Jack, Forklift, with IMPACT level 2 testing and 1+ years of maintenance experience. Location: Florence, SC; on-site schedule includes Mon–Sat shifts with potential overtime. Benefits include health, 401(k), and paid time off; base hourly pay around $24.55 with shift differential possible.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- willing to obtain Lock Out/Tag Out, Pallet Jack and Forklift Certifications
- IMPACT level 2 test with minimum score of 40
- 1+ years experience in Maintenance field
- basic understanding of welding and electrical systems
- ability to lift 50 lbs or more
