Job Summary
Construct, maintain, and test mechanical equipment, machinery, and components while identifying parts needing repair or replacement. Utilize shop mathematics to complete assignments accurately and interpret equipment drawings to adjust, maintain, or repair machinery. Respond promptly to production requests when mechanical issues arise and communicate with management to diagnose and resolve problems. Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and manage time and resources effectively for assigned shifts, including some weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Maintenance experience
- General math skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents, drawings, and schematics
- Basic knowledge of standard and metric measurements
- Must be able to work assigned shifts, including some weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment
