Job Summary
Maintenance mechanic/electrician on production floor performing skilled maintenance (welding, brazing, soldering, plumbing, hydraulics); monitor equipment and production areas; complete work orders and required paperwork; adhere to safety procedures including Lock Out Tag Out, Power Industrial Truck, Scissor Lift, and fall protection; repair electrical and electronic equipment; promote safety; lead and coordinate maintenance activities; analyze downtime and implement corrective actions; communicate in English; perform preoperational inspections; manage routine maintenance alongside plant management and budgeting; requires ability to work 50+ hours; industrial construction and mechanical/electrical knowledge preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous hourly maintenance and supervisor experience preferred.
- Technical schooling with mechanical or electrical emphasis helpful.
- Ability to work 50+ hours per week
- Experience with maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment
- Ability to communicate verbally and written in English
- Knowledge of safety procedures such as Lock Out Tag Out, Scissor Lift, Harness/Fall Protection
