Job Summary
Conduct daily tours of all hotel facilities to discover and correct maintenance deficiencies, conditions that negatively affect guest experience, and risks to security, safety, or health. Respond to written and verbal work orders from the front desk, housekeeping, and management, reporting status and guest comments promptly. Repair and clean mechanical equipment, furniture, fixtures, and supplies across guest rooms, public areas, and support zones while implementing documented preventative maintenance programs. Complete special projects including painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and landscaping. Secure guestrooms, storerooms, and mechanical areas; maintain comprehensive records on maintenance and preventive activities. Willing to work weekends and holidays. Will discuss wage upon interview.
Required Qualifications
- Carry or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Pulling and pushing up to 150 pounds
- Frequent standing up and moving
- Frequently bending, stooping, and kneeling
- Willing to work on weekends, and/or holidays
- Must have experience in electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall work, carpentry, outside maintenance, snow blowing, and shoveling
