Job Summary
Maintenance is responsible for performing all maintenance and repairs on the property, including HVAC/refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, kitchen equipment, pool operations, and safety compliance. Duties include troubleshooting and basic repair of equipment, preventative maintenance, daily property walk-throughs, keeping maintenance areas organized, maintaining preventative maintenance records, inventory updates, and log documentation of operations and malfunctions. Requires completing safety trainings such as Certified Pool Operator and ServSafe, and proficiency with building systems, safety protocols, and guest-service standards. Must have 2+ years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience, a high school diploma or equivalent with a technical background preferred, and a valid driver’s license for travel to support local assets.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalency and a technical background preferred
- At least 2 years of related work or hotel engineering/maintenance experience
- Prior experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting
- Certified pool operator and ServSafe certification
- Must meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for business travel
