Job Summary
Maintenance Helper at Douglassville Quarry focused on supporting production and maintenance. Responsibilities include performing plant maintenance, following MSHA and H&K safety policies, maintaining clean work areas, learning plant functions, obtaining knowledge to complete tasks, taking direction and working in a team with site personnel, cross-training to learn all plant jobs, and performing other duties as assigned. Welding ability is required (must pass a weld test); favorable experience includes loader operation and heavy equipment, with safety certification and outdoor industrial setting familiarity. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or related experience
- Able to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE
- Able to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting)
- Must pass a weld test
- Experience operating heavy equipment (preferred)
- MSHA or safety certification (preferred)
- Experience in quarry maintenance (preferred)
- 3+ months related experience (preferred)
- Loader operation experience (preferred)
- Outdoor industrial setting experience (preferred)
