• •Criminal history background clearance Act 169 and Act 13

• •Must be able to attend trainings to build understanding and capacity to undertake QAPI work
• •Must be able to recognize your role as part of the QAPI efforts of your organization
• •Must be able to carry out QAPI roles and responsibilities as assigned
• •Must be able to follow established policies and procedures in support of QAPI efforts
• •Must be able to look for and share with leadership ideas for improvement in the organization
• •Must be able to communicate to leadership upon witnessing a positive outcome of a QAPI project or detecting barriers preventing project success
• •Must be able to support QAPI efforts both verbally and non-verbally (i.e., via actions and attitude), including adjusting performance and practice in accordance with QAPI initiatives and findings
• •Must be able to recognize your role for Trauma Informed Care: Promotes a culture of safety, empowerment and healing; recognizes that everyone who interacts at Rest Haven may have past traumatic experience and protects trauma survivors from being re-traumatized
• •Must be able to recognize your role for Compliance and Ethics: Participates in annual compliance and ethics training. Follows code of conduct reporting any compliance and ethics concerns
• •Must be able to perform maintenance on repair, preventive, replacement, and new installation basis
• •Must be able to coordinate work of maintenance department with other department functions so as not to interrupt patient care of normal business functions
• •Must be able to inspect all equipment and systems regularly for proper function and safety
• •Must be able to inspect building and grounds regularly for compliance with local codes, ordinances, and safety regulations
• •Must be able to perform duties concerned with electricity, plumbing, painting, carpentry, mechanics, and heating, cooling, and water systems
• •Must be able to perform those duties concerned with maintenance of grounds, parking lots, and driveways, to include: gardening, landscaping, clean-up, mowing, and snow removal
• •Must be able to engraving door plates
• •Must be able to take emergency calls
• •Must be able to perform heavy custodial duties, such as: scrubbing and buffing, cleaning of storage and utility areas, washing walls/ceilings/outside windows, changing light bulbs in ceiling fixtures, housekeeping duties in high places and removal and disposal of garbage and trash
• •Must be able to run errands
• •Must be able to handle incoming and outgoing freight
• •Must be able to perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Designee including Housekeeping, Laundry duties as needed
