Maintenance (Handyman) & Landscaping

Job Summary

Maintain attractive, safe, and well-kept outdoor spaces by mowing, trimming, weeding, and applying fertilizers while managing irrigation systems and seasonal landscaping programs. Perform snow and ice removal, sanding, and salting to ensure safe walkways, and operate equipment including skid-steers, sweepers, and snow removal tools. Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on landscaping machinery, assist in team training, and execute general building maintenance such as painting suites and hallways. Remove debris, coordinate with contractors, and participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies. Complete required weather and snow removal documentation while reporting deficiencies during preventative inspections.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of landscaping, groundskeeping, maintenance, or related experience
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Experience operating Skid-Steers (Bobcats) and other groundskeeping equipment
  • Ability to safely operate snow removal equipment, sweepers, and lawn maintenance equipment
  • Comfortable using mobile devices and tablets for work-related reporting
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions year-round
  • Ability to walk, stand, climb stairs, bend, lift, and perform physical work for extended periods
  • Ability to safely move and maneuver materials weighing up to 90 kg using proper equipment and safe work practices
