Job Summary
Maintenance/Grounds Team Member responsible for the upkeep of campground buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds. Perform basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs, and maintenance as directed by the General Manager. Implement daily, weekly and monthly maintenance and cleaning programs (lawn mowing, weed eating, landscaping, garbage pickup) and ensure safety by adhering to KOA, federal, state and local guidelines. Provide superior customer service to guests, report problems to the General Manager, and work collaboratively with the team. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work outdoors in various climates, and travel as needed. Job runs from April 1, 2026 to October 15, 2026 and includes background checks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Intermediate knowledge of electrical and plumbing equipment and installation
- Intermediate knowledge of chemical properties, handling, and usage
- Intermediate knowledge of propane and gasoline dispensing
