Job Summary
Conduct preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and inspections across building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC diagnostics. Execute landscaping tasks such as mowing, planting, pruning, and weed control, while performing snow and ice removal duties. Operate and maintain grounds and facility equipment, and assist with resident furniture moves and room setups. Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner and comply with required training and certifications to meet regulatory standards. This full-time role includes on-call rotation and nonstandard hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or GED
- Associate degree from an accredited technical school
- Technical certificate from an accredited program
- Five (5) or more years of verified maintenance experience
- 1–3 years grounds or landscaping experience
- 2-5 Years Construction Maintenance
- 2-5 Years Basic Plumbing skills
- 2-5 Years Basic Electrical skills
- Completion of the Highlands Hearthstone Ambassador training within 30 days of employment
- Medical Screening
- Criminal History Clearance
- FBI Fingerprint Clearance
- Immigration and naturalization (I-9) Clearance
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License and acceptable MVR
Desired Qualifications
- 1–3 years grounds or landscaping experience (Preferred)
