Job Summary
Maintenance staff in Milwaukee oversees general repairs across maintenance disciplines to ensure safety, sanitation, and high guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include prioritizing work orders, collaborating with inspectors and department heads, responding to guest room calls, maintaining equipment and inventory, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and participating in the hotel Emergency Evacuation Team and OSHA/Safety programs. Must be able to work weekends/holidays and demonstrate strong guest focus, communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in general repairs in maintenance related disciplines (drywall, painting, carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, finish work, tile or carpet)
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
- Strong communication and guest-service orientation
