Job Summary
Coordinate daily department responsibilities by communicating supervisor instructions to team members and contractors to ensure timely execution. Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all equipment and company assets while performing preventive maintenance, rebuilding machinery, conducting facility repairs, and adjusting machines during production periods. Lead groups to accomplish repairs and rebuilds as determined necessary, utilizing the computerized maintenance management system to track work. Prepare for fast-paced environments and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must have very good communication skills
- Must be able to lead a group of team members and or contractors
- Must be able to communicate with production managers and team members
- Must be prepared to work in fast pace environments
- Must be able to use computerized maintenance management system
- 3 months mechanical experience
- Enrolled or completed an automotive/mechanical degree or training
- Must provide government identification number
- Must be separated from Tyson for a minimum of 180 calendar days
- Must not be rehired for former Tyson Team Members that were termed for gross misconduct
- Must not have worked at Tyson 3 times or more
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
