Job Summary
Maintenance Generalist responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all plant equipment and assets in a safety-focused environment. Performs preventative and corrective maintenance, uses SAP for data entry, adheres to LOTO and fall protection procedures, operates forklifts and pallet jacks, and participates in the Plant Hazmat Team. Requires 6 months of industrial maintenance experience (or recent graduation from an accredited program), ability to work 2nd shift with overtime/weekends, and readiness to pass background checks and provide government ID. Commitment to production schedules, quality standards, and Tyson policies; physically able to stand for long periods and handle heavy lifting.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months of industrial maintenance experience or a recent graduate from an accredited industrial maintenance program
- minimum of 6 months of industrial maintenance work experience documented in the application/work history
- ability to work overtime and weekends
- must be willing to wear safety equipment and follow SAP data entry procedures
- must be a member of the Plant Hazmat Team
- compliance with LOTO, Fall Protection, Ladders, Forklifts, Pallet Jacks usage
- government identification number to verify Tyson employment history
- background checks may be required
