Job Summary
Maintenance Generalist responsible for industrial maintenance across multiple plant departments. Duties include maintaining machinery and production lines, performing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, welding, and conveyor maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, setting up/breaking down production line machinery, and maintaining daily documentation. Requires ability to work in harsh environments (blood, meat byproducts), wear appropriate PPE, and communicate effectively with employees and management. Must have 12 months of industrial work experience or 6 months of continued education in relevant areas and be willing to work any shift; willingness to undergo required training and to perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
- Industrial maintenance experience or related education
- Ability to push, pull, lift up to 50 pounds and stand 10-12 hours daily
- Work in various departments (Processing, Harvest, Warehouse, Rendering, Yards, groundskeeping)
- Basic computer skills and ability to read manuals
- Willing to complete required training
- Open to all shifts including days, nights, weekends, overtime
- Authorization to work in the United States and pass post-offer urinalysis
