Job Summary
Maintenance Generalist responsible for keeping production machinery running; set up, adjust and break down production line equipment; readiness to learn Tyson SAP for work orders and daily documentation; strong reading/writing and communication skills; basic math for machinery-related calculations; able to work in varied temperatures and physical environments; able to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for long 12-hour shifts; must complete pre-employment steps and training.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of industrial maintenance experience
- Verifiable formal schooling in a relevant maintenance/refrigeration trade in lieu of experience accepted
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with SAP is a plus
- Must be willing to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat, and reach
- Must be willing to lift 70 lbs daily
- Must be able to work a 12-hour A shift in a Tyson plant
- Must be willing to complete pre-employment drug test, post-offer health assessment, and orientation as part of the process
- Must be willing to learn Tyson SAP software and fill out required daily documentation
