Job Summary
Maintenance Generalist handles repair and operation of plant machinery, performs preventative maintenance, and troubleshoots electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatics, and welding systems in a 2nd-shift role at the Monett Hatchery. Maintains safety and adheres to Tyson policies, uses pallet jack and forklift when needed, and works in a variable-temperature manufacturing environment. The role requires hands-on abilities, tool usage, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting with the potential for extreme temperature changes.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year industrial maintenance experience
- 6 months continuous employment with a single employer within the last 12 months
- Forklift license
- Pallet jack license
- Furnish own hand tools
- Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job
- Must be willing and able to operate in cold, damp to hot and humid environments
- Industrial maintenance experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatics, and welding
