Job Summary
Diagnose and repair lighting, plumbing, flooring, concession equipment, and seating issues to maintain a first-class building appearance. Work with the theatre management team, communicating directly with location teams while reporting to the district manager, director of facilities, facility manager, and tech manager. Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues to determine who to call for proper repairs. This full-time day shift position requires up to 40 hours a week, though hours are not guaranteed. Candidates must possess at least three of seven specific trade skills, including electrical, plumbing, flooring, low voltage lighting, drywall, refrigeration, or concession equipment repair.
Required Qualifications
- General repairs and maintenance experience
- Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with the ability to determine who to call for proper repairs
- Ability to work on a ladder safely and comfortably
- Ability to work with basic hand tools and a drill
- Excellent leadership skills
- Self-motivation
- Initiative
- Ability to multi-task effectively and meet strict deadlines
- Excellent sense of priority setting and time management
- Ability to follow and enforce all policies and procedures
- Positive attitude toward guests and team members

- Proficient in electrical
- Ability to safely replace ballasts, light switches, and led drivers
- Proficient in plumbing
- Ability to diagnose and repair minor plumbing issues
- Ability to diagnose a leak on a toilet
- Ability to secure a toilet properly when loose
- Ability to replace a damaged toilet seat
- Ability to diagnose and replace/repair a malfunctioning auto flush sensor
- Ability to install plumbing parts like faucets, flushers, and soap dispensers
- Ability to repair/replace broken floor tiles
- Ability to secure/replace loose VCT or LVT
- Ability to replace carpet squares
- Ability to secure loose or missing carpet pieces
- Ability to work on low voltage lighting
- Ability to replace floor monograms or low voltage lighting transformers
- Ability to do light drywall repair and general painting
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair refrigeration equipment
- Ability to clean the coils on refrigeration equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair concession equipment
- Ability to clean coils on gold Medal poppers
- Ability to clean coils on Perfect Fryers
- Ability to clean coils on Turbo Chef ovens
- Ability to clean coils on hot dog grills
