Job Summary
Maintenance Fitter at Real Pet Food Co in Ingleburn, Australia. Day shift, Mon-Fri, with relocation support offered. Responsible for hands-on repairs and maintenance of on-site mechanical systems in a busy FMCG pet-food manufacturing site, including reactive and planned maintenance, rebuild work, and acting as the first point of contact for internal customers while escalating beyond remit as needed. Requires mechanical aptitude across pneumatic/hydraulic systems, power transmission, CIP, boilers, refrigeration, and food-safety/compliance knowledge. Reports to the Engineering and Reliability Manager and works within a collaborative team to keep equipment in peak working order. Preferred FMCG/food-manufacturing experience and relevant mechanical trade qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Maintenance/Mechanical Fitter in FMCG or the Food Manufacturing Industry
- A trade qualification such as Certificate III Mechanical Trade (Fitter/Machinist) or equivalent; Certificate II in Fluid Power, hydraulics or pneumatics acceptable
