Job Summary
Day shift Maintenance Fitter at Poplars AD Plant in Cannock. Responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across the anaerobic digestion facility, diagnosing faults quickly and carrying out effective repairs, supporting installation work and equipment improvements, driving plant reliability and uptime, coordinating with operations teams and contractors, maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance, and supporting preventative maintenance programmes and root cause analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Mechanical or Electrical Fitter role
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced process, manufacturing, waste, water or industrial environment
- Understanding of planned preventative maintenance principles
- Ability to prioritise and respond effectively to breakdowns
