Job Summary
Maintenance Fitter responsible for installation, repair, modification and maintenance of complex dairy-manufacturing equipment using hydraulic and pneumatic systems; welds using Oxy, Arc and TIG; diagnoses electro/mechanical, electro/hydraulics and electro/pneumatic packaging systems; performs general machining (lathe, drilling, milling); maintains mechanical transmissions, pumps, pipes and fittings; reads hydraulic/pneumatic circuitry; utilizes Mex maintenance software; requires relevant trade certificates and electrical licence; dairy/food production experience preferred; rotating shifts including morning, afternoon and overnight.
Required Qualifications
- General Engineering Class 1
- C 10 Trade Certificate in Fitting and Machining
- Post Trade Certificates related to C 8 Trades Classifications
- Restricted Electrical Licence
