Job Summary
Provide Engineering support to the site by ensuring all factory maintenance and service functions are carried out effectively, efficiently, and timely. Coach team members on equipment maintenance and enter completed tasks and spare part bookings into the maintenance system. Ensure all work meets Engineering standards and food safety requirements while supporting BEX Manufacturing Development initiatives such as the Focus Improvement Project and 5S. Report to the Reliability Team Leader with a roster of four days on (two day, two night shifts) followed by four days off, with all shifts lasting 12 hours. This fixed-term, full-time role offers an opportunity to transition to a permanent position in 2027 at Bega Group's Bentley site in Perth.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in Engineering – mechanical trade
- Commitment to making safety a priority and leading a safety-first culture within the reliability teams and across the site
- Actively participate in the Bega people processes
- Contribute to a culture that is constructive, professional, supportive of one another and with a customer service focus
- Broad understanding of processing and packaging in FMCG industry
- Intermediate knowledge of electrical control and instrumentation
- Pre-employment medical
Desired Qualifications
- Ideally move to permanent in 2027
- Certificate III in Engineering – mechanical trade preferable
