Maintenance Field Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, including inventory management and scheduling work assignments for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting systems. Evaluate facilities to identify necessary repairs, develop maintenance procedures, and ensure all work is completed correctly and on time. Hires and trains staff, conducts performance evaluations, and manages discipline or termination in accordance with company policy. Assist with departmental budget estimates and repair project costs. Requires five years of maintenance experience, three years in management, proficiency with GSuite, and the ability to lift 100 pounds while traversing the property to diagnose issues.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least five years of maintenance experience
- At least 3 years management experience under similar role
- Proficient knowledge with GSuite (GMail)
- Proficient knowledge of software
- Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed
- Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems
- Excellent management and supervisory skills
- Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance
- Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds at a time
