Job Summary
Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, test, diagnose, repair, and modify developmental or operational machinery and control equipment in a facility setting. Perform a wide range of electrical and electronic maintenance and mechanical service on sophisticated equipment and controls, including PLC-related tasks (Mitsubishi a bonus). Read blueprints and schematics, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, fabricate and install components, and ensure equipment operates to specification. Conduct preventative maintenance, calibrations, and installations; document readings and work orders; collaborate with engineers and outside contractors as needed. Adhere to safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and company/industry standards (OSHA 10+, NEC/NFPA/ADA as applicable). Possess self-motivation, initiative, and strong problem-solving abilities to keep production online; willingness to travel for training in-state; capable of heavy lifting and working in warehouse/industrial environments.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance
- Experience in electrical installation and maintenance on plant electrical systems and equipment
- Experience in mechanical installation and maintenance on plant systems and equipment
- Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics
- OSHA 10 or higher certification; commitment to after hire date is acceptable
- Proficient in reading blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, mechanical/electrical diagrams, and technical orders
