Job Summary
Maintenance Facility Electrician at Ashley Furniture: install, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade electrical systems and equipment across the facility. Duties include installing electrical systems in new construction, diagnosing and repairing electrical power, lighting, control and equipment distribution, upgrading existing systems, repairing damaged equipment and conduits, performing routine maintenance, and maintaining clean, safe work areas. Requires reading blueprints/work orders, interpreting electrical schematics and control logic, and coordinating with supervision. Must operate safely, report faults promptly, and contribute to company growth values. Preferred experience includes building automation/controls (PLCs, VFDs, BMS) and industrial maintenance in manufacturing environments; technical education in Electrical Technology or related field is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Valid State Electrician License - Current journeyman or master electrician license in good standing
- Electrical Experience - Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial or industrial electrical systems including power distribution, motor controls, and lighting systems
- Voltage Proficiency - Demonstrated ability to safely work with low voltage (120V) through high voltage (480V) electrical systems
- Blueprint Reading - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, one-line drawings, and control logic diagrams
