Job Summary
Assist the maintenance department staff with inventory ordering, receiving, and reconciliation, plus minor repairs and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and utility systems across the plant, warehouse, and office. Perform duties requiring operation of hand tools, test instruments, and machining equipment while following written, verbal, or diagrammatic instructions and blueprints. Maintain an excellent safety record and legible handwriting for form completion. Monday through Friday, 1st shift. High school diploma and two years of facility maintenance experience preferred.
Required Qualifications

- two years of facility maintenance experience
- valid drivers license

- ability to type and operate a computer
- ability to operate a calculator
- ability to operate a wide range of hand tools
- ability to operate test instruments
- ability to operate machining equipment
- ability to operate maintenance equipment
- ability to perform mathematical calculations involving adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions, decimals and percentages
- ability to follow written, verbal or diagrammatic instructions or blueprints
- excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- legible handwriting to record information and fill out forms
- ability to plan, prioritize and organize work effectively
- ability to work effectively under pressure and time deadlines
- ability to analyze problems (not just symptoms)
- ability to propose reasonable solutions
- ability to make logical decisions

Desired Qualifications
