Job Summary
Maintenance & Facilities Technician responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, repair, and inspection of outpatient healthcare facilities and property, including buildings, parking lots, grounds, machinery, fixtures, appliances, vehicles, and safety equipment. Perform preventive maintenance, address maintenance and repair needs in a timely and efficient manner, coordinate projects with staff and outside vendors/contractors, maintain records and report on scheduled activities, monitor equipment and systems (heating/cooling, fire alarms, plumbing, electrical, vehicles), respond to emergencies, assist with facility-related housekeeping and moves, and provide on-call and emergency after-hours services as necessary. Requires driving, on-call availability, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; must be able to operate computer programs and facilities management software. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-5 years experience in maintenance and/or safety duties (HVAC, fire and emergency systems, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong written, oral, and customer-service communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to be on-call in case of emergency
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; experience with Facilities Management Express
