Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of the club location including janitorial, preventative maintenance needs, and building grounds to provide a safe, efficient operating environment. Clean and disinfect all club components as they are used by members and guests, while maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for everyone. Prepare and adhere to preventative maintenance schedules, follow safety regulations for equipment operation, and respond to emergencies. Actively communicate with management about mechanical problems and inventory status, recommending necessary capital equipment or major repairs. Assist in retaining and attaining new members through club promotion and customer service excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Have an understanding of 3-phase electrical equipment
- Knowledge of low pressure steam boilers, HVAC (filters, belts), and commercial refrigeration
- Experience with pool and spa operation and chemicals
- Knowledge of fitness equipment repair and maintenance
- Carpentry, painting and basic electrical skills
- Experience with basic plumbing repairs
- Manual dexterity and physical strength
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking
- Flexibility is needed
- 40 hours per week
